DOCG CONEGLIANO-VALDOBBIADENE UNESCO AREA

All the vineyards of the Az. Agr. Al Palaz are located in the restricted area of Valdobbiadene D.O.C.G., more precisely in the hamlet of Guia.

Each of these has a particular name that recalls the toponymic and geological history of the area: Col, Belussi, Cordeta, Muliana, Riva Granda.
The Az. Agr. Al Palaz produces a variety and limited quantity of types of wine in which all the specific characteristics and qualities of each vineyard are enhanced.
In the September period, the harvest is carried out strictly by hand, given the impervious area and the geology of the vineyards.

HEROIC WINEMAKING

Heroic viticulture in the DOCG Prosecco Conegliano-Valdobbiadene is one of the most fascinating and complex forms of viticulture in Italy, and represents one of the most emblematic areas where tradition, the difficulty of the soil and the quality of the wine come together in a unique way. Prosecco Superiore DOCG Conegliano-Valdobbiadene is the result of centuries of winemaking experience, which has transformed one of the most inaccessible regions of the Veneto into one of the most famous denominations worldwide.

Heroic viticulture in this area is mainly distinguished by the difficulties associated with growing vines on the steep hillsides, which characterize the landscape of the area. The hills of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene are famous for their steep terrain, terraces and slopes that can reach an inclination of up to 70 degrees. These conditions make the use of heavy machinery impossible and force winemakers to work manually, with great commitment and precision.
